oval, scarcely constricted.— On <strong>the</strong> leaves of Centaurea;^ &c.<br />

Puccinia Syngenesiarum, Lk. Thistle Brand ; spots<br />

sori minute, collected in oval blackish-brown,<br />

raised spots, covered with <strong>the</strong> epidermis ; spores brown ; peduncles<br />

very short.— On <strong>the</strong> leaves of Thistles. Autumn.<br />

pale-brown, obovate, attenuated below, <strong>the</strong> upper segment<br />

globular, easily separating. — On Galium cniciatum. Autumn.<br />
