Popcorn Sale 

Selling popcorn is a fantastic way for a 

pack or troop (and any other unit) to raise 

money for activities. Your council provides a 

great, risk-free sale of quality products with 

good commission. Sign-up is available online.

Webelos Woods 2008 

This exciting annual event is scheduled 

for the weekend of October 3-5 at Camp 

Cooper. All Webelos I and II’s are strongly 

encouraged to attend! Signups are now 

available online at cpcbsa.org/register. Contact

Training Blitz- October 11 

A host of training opportunities are 

provided to become trained this fall for 

the Scouting role you will play during the 

school year. Join fellow volunteers for the 

Pioneer District Training Blitz. New leaders 

essentials, and specific training for all Cub 

and Boy scout leaders will be covered. Be 

sure unit leaders attend this special event.

Winter Lodge Woodcut/Clean-up 

The 2008 Winter Lodge Woodcut is 

scheduled for September 20. Be sure to 

make your reservation as this is the only 

way to secure a spot in one of our winter 

lodges for your Troop. Cubs are invited to 

participate in the Winter Lodge Clean-up 

day which will be on October 11. Contact

Pow-Wow 

Its not to late to signup for Pow-Wow. 

Pow-Wow will be held Saturday November 

15th. This is a great opportunity for 

Cub Scout leaders and parents to get great 

ideas on how to run a variety of Cub Scout 

activities, including den meetings and pack 

meetings. This will also be your first opportunity 

to signup for Cub Scout day camp and 

resident camp for 2010. Log on to www.cpcbsa.org/register 

for more information and 

to sign up. 

Charter Renewal 

The 2008 Charter Renewal packets will 

be available on at the October Roundtable. 

The scheduled turn-in dates are on November 

11-13. This year charters can only 

be completed online so make sure a representative 

from your unit comes to roundtable
