Donate a Car or Boat
Donate any used complete vehicle
or boat. (It could be a car,
truck, recreational vehicle, or
boat.) The Cascade Pacific
Council and Volunteers
of America,
Inc. have joined forces
in efforts to raise
money for programs.
Donations are tax deductible to the extent of the
law and any vehicle will be picked up for free. Contact

Note: Tax laws changed on January 1, 2005. For vehicles up to $500 in value, the donor
will state the value. For vehicles over $500 in value, the donor will be able to claim only
the actual amount the charity receives for the vehicle. In our case, vehicles are sold at auction
by the Volunteers of America. As always, it is suggested that a donor consult his or
her tax professional for information. These tax laws also apply for charitable donations
of other goods as well.
