Wendt Rod Wendt is president and CEO of JELD- WEN, inc., which has been recognized as Oregon’s largest, privately owned company. After graduating from Stanford University with a B.A. in Economics and earning his law degree from Willamette University, he joined the company in 1980. When he was named president of JELD-WEN 12 years later, he was challenged by the realities of a global economy supercharged by rapid advances in information technology. It was a different world than what his father Dick Wendt faced when he founded the company in 1960. The Meritorious Leadership Award Dinner will recognize Roderick C. Wendt for his upstanding character, steady leadership within the global window and door industry, and charitable commitments. The evening will provide opportunity to learn about Scouting today, and raises necessary funds for Cascade Pacific Council. Opportunities to honor Rod by supporting the Meritorious Leadership Award Dinner include table sponsorships and individual tickets until ballroom capacity is reached.
