Italian American Institute, Queens College/<strong>CUNY</strong>.<br />

Sciorra will examine <strong>the</strong> cultural life <strong>of</strong> Italian Americans<br />

through Sunday dinners, basement kitchens, backyard<br />

gardens and daily entities associated with Italian<br />

Americans as demonstrated in his edited collection <strong>of</strong><br />

essays. Refreshments will be served. Additional events<br />

celebrating women educators will be presented during<br />

Women’s History Month at MSU, a collaboration between<br />

<strong>the</strong> College <strong>of</strong> Humanities and Social Sciences and <strong>the</strong><br />

College <strong>of</strong> Education and Human Services. Sponsored by<br />
