During <strong>the</strong> summer <strong>of</strong> 2009, Lou Barrella and his wife<br />

Kathleen made a long awaited trip to Italy. In addition to<br />

visiting some major cities, <strong>the</strong>y went to places important<br />

in <strong>the</strong> lives <strong>of</strong> Verdi and Puccini. This pictorial souvenir<br />

is accompanied by operatic music celebrating beautiful<br />

locations. Sharing this experience will bring back<br />

wonderful memories <strong>for</strong> some and a yearning to visit Italy<br />
