During the summer of 2009, Lou Barrella and his wife
Kathleen made a long awaited trip to Italy. In addition to
visiting some major cities, they went to places important
in the lives of Verdi and Puccini. This pictorial souvenir
is accompanied by operatic music celebrating beautiful
locations. Sharing this experience will bring back
wonderful memories for some and a yearning to visit Italy
