“Tribute to Dr. Maria Montessori”<br />

Elisa Infosino, freelance writer, will deliver a lecture<br />

about Dr. Montessori’s life and legacy. Dr. Montessori<br />

developed <strong>the</strong> Montessori Method <strong>of</strong> education and was<br />

<strong>the</strong> first Italian female physician. Power point presentation<br />

will accompany <strong>the</strong> lecture. Sponsored by <strong>the</strong> Garibaldi<br />

writers – famous and emerging – at <strong>the</strong> Cornelia Street<br />

Café on <strong>the</strong> 2 nd Saturday <strong>of</strong> every month in Greenwich<br />

Village. Readings begin with an open mic followed by<br />
