“Tribute to Dr. Maria Montessori”

Elisa Infosino, freelance writer, will deliver a lecture
about Dr. Montessori’s life and legacy. Dr. Montessori
developed the Montessori Method of education and was
the first Italian female physician. Power point presentation
will accompany the lecture. Sponsored by the Garibaldi
Meucci Museum.

Hands on culinary classes for children presented in our
demonstration kitchen by Cathy Blanco. Children have
fun while learning to prepare traditional biscotti. Adults
will not be admitted without a child. One adult per child.

Association/Literary Readings

The Italian American Writers’ Association is the only
forum that has consistently given voice to numerous
writers – famous and emerging – at the Cornelia Street
Café on the 2 nd Saturday of every month in Greenwich
Village. Readings begin with an open mic followed by
