Staged Reading <strong>of</strong> Baroque by Richard Vetere<br />

Baroque is <strong>the</strong> story <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> young painter Mario Minitti<br />

and several o<strong>the</strong>rs who lived in Rome at <strong>the</strong> turn <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

century in 1600 seeking fame and <strong>for</strong>tune. The story<br />

follows <strong>the</strong> lives <strong>of</strong> Fillide Meladrone, Archbishop Pietro<br />

Aldrobondini, Ranuccio Tomassoni and Nunzio Pulzone<br />

as <strong>the</strong>y intersect and share a common bond that <strong>the</strong>y were<br />

each painted by <strong>the</strong> great Caravaggio. Sponsored by Casa<br />
