Golf <strong>Program</strong>s<br />
Registration Information<br />
All golfers are asked to register seven days before programs/classes and<br />
two weeks before leagues so that programs are not cancelled due to low<br />
enrollment. Call for further information regarding the exact registration<br />
dates. The <strong>Skokie</strong> <strong>Park</strong> <strong>District</strong> reserves the right to cancel or combine<br />
classes based on participation. Register by WebTrac or at the Skatium<br />
Office or Sports <strong>Park</strong> during regular office hours. For more information<br />

Refunds & Class Make-Ups<br />
Requests for refunds must be made before the second week of a class<br />
and will be pro-rated. Class make-ups will not be allowed unless the<br />
class is cancelled due to severe weather.<br />
The <strong>Skokie</strong> <strong>Park</strong> <strong>District</strong> reserves the right to change hours, rates and<br />
other program details without prior notification or warning. Please call<br />

Leagues<br />
Ladies Summer Golf League<br />
Tuesday morning play for ladies of all abilities, this 14-week golf league<br />
includes permanent tee times and a post-season awards luncheon.<br />
Individual or foursome registration only.<br />

Senior Summer League<br />
Open to men and women 60 years of age or older of all abilities.<br />
Registration for individuals, twosomes and foursomes will be taken.<br />
Permanent tee-times will be assigned based on availability and league<br />
size. Rotating times may be accommodated but not guaranteed. An<br />
awards presentation will be held at the end of the season.<br />

After Work Summer League<br />
Relieve the stress of the day before going home. Get a team together<br />
from your office or sign up as a single. A shotgun-starting format will be<br />
used. An awards presentation will be held at the end of the season.<br />

Coming this fall – Fall Golf League<br />
Wait, the season isn’t over yet! Open to all golfers 18 years and older.<br />
Play as a single or register a foursome. An awards presentation will be<br />
held at the end of the season. Play will be on Tuesday mornings with the<br />
first tee time at 9 a.m. Registration begins in August.<br />
North Suburban Junior Travel League<br />
Competitive play for grade school golfers and an ideal environment for<br />
those considering high school golf. A maximum of 15 team members will<br />
be selected. The team will travel to other golf courses to compete on<br />
a weekly basis beginning in mid-June. If you are considering high school<br />
level golf, this program is a good way to prepare. Evaluations will be<br />
conducted in early June. Stay tuned for further information.<br />
Weber <strong>Park</strong> Tournaments<br />
Weber <strong>Park</strong> Golf Course offers special tournaments throughout the<br />
season. These fun-filled events give golfers a chance to make new<br />
friends, spend time with family and friends and win fabulous prizes.<br />
Tournaments are open to all skill levels. Shotgun start format will be<br />
used for all events. Mark the following dates on your calendar and play in<br />
these upcoming events:<br />
Parent/Junior Scramble Tournament: June 9, <strong>2013</strong><br />
Two-Person Best Ball Tournament: July 14, <strong>2013</strong><br />
Weber <strong>Park</strong> Open–18 Hole Event: *New Date* August 11, <strong>2013</strong><br />
Parent/Junior Alternating Shot Tournament: September 8, <strong>2013</strong><br />

Junior Golf Camps<br />
In <strong>2013</strong>, more economical, time-flexible camps will be offered. Camps<br />
will meet daily for 2.5 hours in one-week sessions. If you register for<br />
both the AM and PM sessions in the same week, you’ll save $80 plus a<br />
one-hour supervised lunch period between sessions ($60 savings for<br />

Junior Golf <strong>Program</strong>s<br />
Sticks for Kids/Beginner Junior Golf - <strong>Spring</strong> Session<br />
This clinic offers new players an opportunity to learn<br />
the basics. No prior golf experience is necessary. Golf<br />
equipment will be available for clinic use. Basic short<br />
game and swing fundamentals will be taught. The first<br />
class meets at Sports <strong>Park</strong>. Please bring your golf clubs.<br />
Minimum class size is 4, maximum is 8.<br />

Parent/Junior Golf<br />
Fundamentals will be covered and advice will be given to parents to<br />
help guide their junior golfers at home. Each junior golfer must be<br />
accompanied by a parent or an adult. Spaces are limited. Minimum class<br />
size is 4, maximum is 8. First class meets at Sports <strong>Park</strong>. Bring your<br />
clubs.<br />
