Spring Program Guide 2013 - Skokie Park District

Gymnastics
Gymnastics classes are available through the Morton Grove Park
District for children ages 4-18 years old. Classes are held at Niles
West High School or the Prairie View Community Center in
Morton Grove. The program is under the direction of Pam Foerch,
Gymnastics Coach at Niles West High School. Sessions usually run
for six weeks at a time throughout the year. Participants who
reside in District 219 receive the resident rate.

Camps

T-Ball Skills Clinic
Learn basic baseball skills, including rules, offense, defense, and
strategies. Bring a glove and sportswear. No class 5/25.

Total Sports
Learn teamwork and the basic skills of playing a particular sport. Includes
soccer, kickball, t-ball, floor hockey, basketball and more. No class 5/25
and 5/26.

‘Game Time’ Flag Football
Kids will play in daily scrimmages, coaches giving instruction and tips.
Players will employ skills such as running pass routes, play calling,
defensive positioning, and the fundamentals of blocking and pass
coverage.

Spring Break Sports and More Camp
Campers will develop their fine motor skills and learn teamwork
by playing several sports all morning long. Please bring a snack.
