Dual-Axis Programming<br />
Example #1<br />
Index the rotary table, not the tilt-axis, 90 o .<br />
1. Turn Power switch on.<br />
2. Push the Cycle Start switch.<br />
3. Push the Zero Return switch.<br />
4. Push the Mode button and release. Display will blink.<br />
5. Push and hold Clear button for five seconds. “G 91” displayed.<br />
6. Push the Display Scan button until M:A is displayed (the “Steps” display).<br />
7. Enter 90000. Use the Clear button to fix a mistake<br />
8. Push Mode button. Steady displays.<br />
9. Push Cycle Start to index.<br />
Example #2<br />
Index the rotary axis 90 o (previous steps 1-9) and then index the tilt axis 45 o .<br />
10. Push the Mode button. Display will blink.<br />
11. Push the Down Arrow once. This will move the control to step 2.<br />
12. Enter 91 on the key pad.<br />
13. Push the Display Scan button until M:B is displayed.<br />
14. Enter 45000 on the key pad.<br />
15. Push the Up Arrow button once. Move the control to step 1.<br />
16. Push the Mode button. Steady displays.<br />
17. Push the Cycle Start switch; the table moves to 90 o . Push Cycle Start again<br />
and the tilt-axis moves to 45 o .<br />
Following examples show the program as it is entered into the control. It is assumed<br />
that memory is cleared.<br />
Example #3<br />
Tilt the rotary table 30 o , then drill a four-hole pattern, and then drill a five-hole pattern<br />
on the same part.<br />
