4.7 Mounting the input or output element on the gearbox<br />
Use a fitting device to fit the input or output elements.<br />

Observe the correct mounting arrangement to minimize stress on shafts and bearings due to<br />

Procedure<br />
1. Using either benzine or solvent, remove the anti-corrosion protection from the shaft ends<br />
and flanges and remove the protective skin provided.<br />
2. Fit the input and output elements onto the shafts and secure them if necessary.<br />
You have now fitted the input or output element.<br />
