1: Beliefin Allah, and Exalted be He

In addition. He says:
~nd they worship besides Allah that which does not possess for
them [the power of] provision from the heavens and the earth at
all, and [infact], they are unable':' (Qur'an: An-Nah1: 73)
Besides, He says:
"0 people. an example is presented. so listen <strong>to</strong> it. Indeed, those
you invoke besides Allah will never create [as much as] a fly, even
if they gathered <strong>to</strong>gether for it [i.e•• that purpose]. And if the fly
should steal away from them a [tiny] thing, they could not recover
itfrom the fly. Weak are the pursuer andpursued':'
(Qur'an: Al-Hajj: 73)
7- Furthermore, the Qur'an reproaches the polytheists who worship
partners other than Allah. In this relation. Allah, Exalted and Glorified
be He, says:
"He said. 'Then do you worship instead ofAllah that which does not
benefit you at all or harm you' Uff<strong>to</strong> you and <strong>to</strong> whatyou worship
instead ofAllah. Then will you not use reason" »
Further, Allah says:
(Qur'an: Al-Anbiya: 66-67)
'~nd who is more astray than he who invokes besides Allah those
who will not respond <strong>to</strong> him until the Day of Resurrection [i.e.,
never], and they, oftheir invocation, are unaware':'
(Qur'an: Al-A,hqM: 5)
8- The Qur'an also sheds light on the severe punishment that will be
inflicted on the Polytheists, who worship other partners <strong>to</strong>gether with
Allah. Itpoints out the destiny ofthose disbelievers and that ofthe false
deities they worship on the Day of Judgment. Those deities will fail
those polytheists in the most crucial situations. Allah, Glorified and
Exalted be He, says:
~nd ifonly they who have wronged would consider [that] when
they see the punishment. [they will be certain} that all power
belongs <strong>to</strong> Allah and that Allah is severe in punishment. [And
they should consider that] when those who have beenfollowed
disassociate themselves from those who followed [them}, and
