HOW THE SURROUNDINGS INFLUENCE PLANE BEARINGS<br />

Polymer plane bearings made of specially modified<br />

compounds for the best operating results in maintenancepoor<br />

or maintenance-free surroundings. Through many years<br />

of experiences we have continuously improved our materials.<br />

Today, we are able to cover a large segment of applications<br />

with our products.<br />

Many factors have an influence on the successful operation<br />

of plane bearings. Temperature is a determining factor.<br />

Polymers change their properties more radically at different<br />

temperatures than conventional metal-polymer bearings.<br />

Approximate values and orientation cannot replace a test<br />

under real everyday conditions of a system. Check operational<br />

temperature, loads, life, safety and the insertion tolerance<br />

and lubrication edge pressures or unwanted inclusion of dirt<br />

particles.<br />
