Guiding Rollers<br />

The “Rotating” slides are mounted with two or three guiding<br />

V-rollers (depending if slide has 3 or 5 rollers in total), which<br />

are aligned against the same lower raceway for max. radial<br />

load capacity. While one or two (depending if slide has<br />

three or fi ve rollers in total) floating P rollers are mounted<br />

against the upper raceway. This configuration allows the A<br />

slide a minor rotation, around the contact points of the lower<br />

raceway. This compensates for axial misalignment, while<br />

maintaining its original preload and same straight,<br />

precision motion.<br />

Floating Rollers<br />

The “Floating” slides contain only floating rollers, three or<br />

fi ve in total. The contact areas with the raceways only provide<br />

for radial load and Mz capacities, thus allowing for axial<br />

movement and a simultaneous slight rotation of the slide to<br />

offer axial and longitidinal compensation, while maintaining<br />

original preload and same precise and smooth straightline<br />

movement.<br />
