3. Severe misalignment<br />

A standard O.D. bearing is recommended.<br />

EXAMPLE: FL24, FM30, FJ30<br />

Oversize the I.D. of the housing and install the bearing with<br />

o-rings. This will allow the bearing to “float” in the<br />

housing and match the misalignment or non-parallelism<br />

of the shafting.<br />

The recommended method of retention for this mounting is a<br />

snap ring at each end.<br />

NOTE: Do not use epoxy in this configuration. It will lock the<br />

bearing in place, not allowing it to self-align.<br />
