How to access your appointment date:<br />
You will be e-mailed in June/July when your<br />
course registration appointment start time<br />
is available for Fall/Winter studies. For<br />
details on your appointment start time sign<br />
into your Student Center and click on the<br />
box on the right entitled Enrollment Dates.<br />
You will be able to add courses through<br />
the Student Center beginning on your<br />
assigned date and time until the end <strong>of</strong> web<br />
registration. The last day for web registration<br />
is in early August (see dates section).<br />

Canadian citizens or permanent residents,<br />
living in <strong>Ontario</strong> who are 60 years <strong>of</strong> age or<br />
older or who will reach the age <strong>of</strong> 60 during<br />
the month that their classes commence, and<br />
who are <strong>of</strong>fered admission to, and register<br />
in Senate-approved courses or programs in<br />
an undergraduate faculty or in the School <strong>of</strong><br />
Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies as a fulltime<br />
or part-time <strong>student</strong> for credit or audit,<br />
may be eligible for a bursary subject to the<br />
following conditions:<br />
1. applicants must present pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> age;<br />
2. applicants wishing to seek admission to a<br />
first year program in one <strong>of</strong> the Faculties<br />
<strong>of</strong> Arts and Humanities, Science or Social<br />
Science will be required to complete only<br />
a formal admission application;<br />
3. applicants seeking admission to other<br />
undergraduate faculties must complete<br />
an application for admission and may<br />
be required to provide additional<br />
documentation;<br />
4. applicants seeking admission to the<br />
School <strong>of</strong> Graduate and Postdoctoral<br />
Studies must complete an application<br />
for admission and complete all<br />
documentation required by that Faculty;<br />
5. applicants seeking credit for previous<br />
university work must provide such<br />
documentation as required by the<br />
Admissions Office.<br />
6. declared financial need.<br />
7. maximum value <strong>of</strong> $6,300 per Fall/<br />
Winter term for undergrad <strong>student</strong>s and<br />
$3,500 per term for grad <strong>student</strong>s.<br />
8. Tenable at main campus only.<br />
Note 1: Admission to limited enrollment<br />
courses and programs is competitive. No<br />
assurance can be given to senior citizens that<br />
they will be granted a place in such courses or<br />
programs.<br />

The Modules<br />
There are four possible modules <strong>of</strong> study which<br />
may be entered after First Year:<br />
• Honors Specialization (9.0 or more<br />
specified courses)<br />
• Specialization (9.0 or more specified<br />
courses)<br />
• Major (6.0 -7.0 specified courses)<br />
• Minor (4.0 -5.0 specified courses)<br />
Note: Not all departments <strong>of</strong>fer all these<br />
Modules.<br />
The modular degree structure affords the<br />
opportunity to combine various subjects<br />
from different Departments and Faculties.<br />
The modules taken must fit within these<br />
degree structures. Departments, Schools,<br />
Faculties and Affiliated <strong>University</strong> Colleges<br />
may <strong>of</strong>fer some or all <strong>of</strong> the above modules.<br />
See Faculty and Department listings for<br />
details. Combinations other than those listed<br />
below have not been approved; consequently,<br />
they may not be taken. Enrollment in some<br />
modules may be limited.<br />
These Modules may be combined in<br />
three different degrees:<br />
1) The Honors Bachelor Degree (Four<br />
Year) - (20.0 courses)<br />
15.0 courses after first year, including<br />

registered in spring/summer courses are<br />

courses) This may be combined with a<br />
Major or a Minor or option(s)<br />
• Major (6.0 - 7.0) plus a Major (6.0<br />
- 7.0) plus option(s) (3.0 - 1.0) This<br />
combination requires two Major<br />
