A King’s student is registered at Western and receives Western credits. Our students may take any course not offered at King’s at Western, Brescia or Huron. All degrees are granted from The University of Western Ontario. Get Department signatures on the form from the relevant Department (at King’s or another campus). 3) Come to King’s Academic Dean’s Office (DL104) during drop-in hours (see above) to get an Academic Counsellor’s approval/signature on the form. Students that do not qualify for other King’s University College Bursaries that may be experiencing financial difficulties are encouraged to apply for this bursary. This bursary is also available to students that may find themselves in a financial emergency such as unexpected medical expenses not covered by normal provincial or federal funding. Each application is reviewed in detail and decisions are made on a student by student basis regarding the level of funding necessary. News and Updates: King’s Parking for 11/12 • Application will be available starting June 1st at www.kings.uwo.ca/ physical_plant/parking. • Cost is $689.00, taxes included. (If a transponder is required, an additional $35 deposit will apply.) OSAP for Fall/Winter 10/11 • Application should become available online at the end of May, 2010 at http:// osap.gov.on.ca • New students should apply no later than June 25, 2010 to be considered for all possible programs. • Returning students should apply no later than July 14, 2010. Work Study for Fall/Winter 10/11 • Students can apply for Fall/Winter Work Study starting August 1st, 2010 How To Get YourT2202A (Tax Certificate for Tuition and Education Amounts) 1. Login to your account using your email login and password NOTE: if you do not remember your personal account or password, go to the link below the “Login” section for assistance. 3. Once logged in, scroll to the bottom of the page 4. Under “Finances”, find ‘my T2202A slips’ and click on the link 5. Choose which year that you wish to print Summer School Tuition • You must contact UWO regarding summer tuition and summer OSAP. Recent Announcements from the Ministry of Education and Training, Colleges and Universities • Textbook and Technology Grant for 10/11 will remain at $150 and only be given to OSAP eligible students that have picked up their funding. • Distance Grants / Travel Grants for 10/11(awarded through the OSAP application) will only be awarded to students that demonstrate financial need ex) qualify for at least $1 of needs based funding.
