Ridgidrain Installation 1.5<br />
Installation of the Ridgidrain <strong>system</strong> is typically carried out in accordance with the Manual Contracts Documents of<br />
Highway works (MCDHW).<br />
The following standard details reference the MCDHW and illustrate pipe bed and surround requirements for carrier<br />
or filter drain installation.<br />
Standard details<br />
Granular pipe bed and surround material, consisting of natural and/or recycled coarse aggregate or recycled<br />
concrete aggregate, should have the following specification (in accordance with clause 503.3 MCDHW).<br />
For pipes on beds shown on HCD Drawing Number F1 as Types B, F and S<br />
