Norskedalen’s Old Fashioned Christmas<br />
are highly awaited events. Skumsrud<br />
Heritage Farm is owned and operated<br />
by Norskedalen, and is located 1/2 mile<br />
west <strong>of</strong> Coon Valley on Highway 14/61.<br />
This is an open air museum with 11<br />
historic buildings and is on the National<br />
Register <strong>of</strong> Historic Places, open<br />
Memorial Day through Labor Day.<br />
Viroqua<br />
Viroqua is a MAIN STREET CITY,<br />
featured in the Wall Street Journal,<br />
CBS evening news, Smithsonian<br />
Magazine, and Readers Digest. Located<br />
on Highway 14/61 at the junctions <strong>of</strong><br />
Highways 56, 82 and 27, Viroqua is a<br />
city on the move. Viroqua has a busy<br />
and varied downtown, and a pride in<br />
its heritage, enterprising spirit and<br />
community wide accomplishments.<br />

August and features a 3-day return to<br />
yesteryear. Wild West Days is set in an<br />
authentic scaled down frontier town<br />
with gunfights, stagecoach rides,<br />

County Museum, the former County Normal School; Sherry-Butt House, home <strong>of</strong><br />
Civil War Colonel Butt and later Orbec and Hilda Sherry; and Country School and<br />
