Preschool Starfish (4 to 12 months)
In this introductory class for infants (4 to 12 months) and their parent/
caregiver, participants will have the opportunity to experience
buoyancy and movement through songs and play in the water. They
will have the opportunity to learn front, back and vertical positions in
the water and shallow water entries and exits. To enter this level,
babies must be able to hold their head up. This level is participationbased
only, without formal evaluation.

Preschool Star-Duck ( 4 to 24 months)
In this beginner class for toddlers (4 to 24 months) and their parent/
caregiver, participants will have the opportunity to experience the
curriculum for both the Starfish and Duck program. Participants will
have the opportunity to experience buoyancy and movement and
learn how to use floating objects for support through games, songs
and active water play. This level is participation based only, without
formal evaluation.
