Seasonal Use of Playing Fields
The Recreation and Community Services Department prides itself on
offering some of the finest playing field facilities in Southern Ontario. The
following is an outline of our playing fields. For further information on the
seasonal use of playing fields, please contact a customer service representative
at 905 688-5601 ext. 1927.
Type ’A’ Fields: Lighted diamonds or fields that are fenced, have washrooms,
bleachers, and are lined as per schedules.
ADULTS: $27.00 per hour MINORS: $8.00 per hour
Note: These are PRIME TIME rates, 6pm to 11pm. Users will pay “B” Field
rates during non-prime times.
Type ’B’ Fields: These fields have bleachers, and are lined a minimum of
three times per week during regular working hours only.
ADULTS: $25.00 per hour MINORS: $5.00 per hour
Type ’C’ Fields: These fields are not lined and have no maintenance other
than mowing or trimming.
ADULTS: $12.00 per hour MINORS: $1.00 per hour
(min. 3 hours per night)
Tournaments
Tournaments are welcome at all playing fields with special tournament
fees. Rates apply for prime and non-prime times:
Type ‘A’ Tournament (per field)
ADULTS: $36.00 per hour MINORS: $9.00 per hour
Type ‘B’ Tournament (per field)
ADULTS: $33.00 per hour MINORS: $7.00 per hour
Kiwanis Field, 240 St. Paul St. West
St. Catharines first artificial turf is large enough to accommodate regulation
Canadian Football League games, FIFA soccer games and field lacrosse.
Amenities include lighting, change rooms, and washrooms.

Child Season Pass (14 years and under): $30
Youth Season Pass (15-17 years): $30 +HST
Family Membership (2 adults and 2 children): $96.50 +HST
Tennis court lights are on a timer. If there is a power failure, the timer is
affected. Tennis lights turn on at dusk and off by 10:30 pm. Please report
any variations by calling 905 937-7210 between 8:30am - 4:30pm.
• Please respect the rights of others
• Double play is recommended when players are waiting.
• No ball hockey or skateboarding on the courts.
Tennis nets are in place from May to October. Realty Park will
remain open until November 12, 2012 (weather permitting).
