Babysitter Training Course (12 to 16 years)
In this certification course participants (12 to 16 years) will gain knowledge
in becoming an effective babysitter. Topics include Child Development,
Safety, Nutrition, Emergencies, Games and Children with Special Needs. A
Canadian Safety Council Certificate will be issued with successful completion
of the course and exam.

In this introductory class for girls (9 to 13 years) participants will meet new
friends and create new memories. Emphasis will be on building social skills
while participating in a number of activities including exercising, cooking,
music and dance, crafts, spa night, fun with friends movie night and much
more.

Home Alone (10 to 14 years)
In this one day class for children (10 to 14 years) participants will learn skills
and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short
periods of time. Discussion on how to prevent problems, handle real-life
situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied will take place.

The I in Team (18 years & over)
In this one day workshop for adults (18 years & over) participants will take
part in an exercise that will help them identify the group issues, whether at
home or at work that affect their life. Emphasis will be on ensuring personal
accountability of each member of their team/family to create a happier

Red Cross Standard First Aid & Basic Rescuer CPR
(all ages)
In this class participants will learn comprehensive First Aid & CPR techniques
for those who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies
in the home or workplace. A variety of topics are covered from basic
first aid such as cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, CPR Level
C, prevention of disease transmission to more severe sudden medical
conditions and injuries to the head and spine.
