However, the total number of species taken in Norway seems to be 35, as Amphinemura norwegica is described from the Pasvik area in Finnmark by Tobias (1973). This species has not been examined by the present author. The distribution of the Norwegian species is plotted in Figs. 25-58. Of the 29 species taken in Norway south of the Dovre mountains, seven were not taken west of the central mountain chain (Langfjellene).
