To discuss and share with other European organisations our experience in the practice of European programmes management in line with the social aim of our activity and maybe find some way to cooperate in some future projects.

As a training agency accredited by the Tuscany Regional Government, Euridea offers vocational training and adult education courses in various areas: social care, cultural heritage conservation, specialized linguistic training, IT. Euridea carries out its activity both at national and transnational level. Some courses have been granted European Union funding (Adapt, Leonardo, Socrates, Grundtvig). Euridea successfully provided project development services in the fields of: The idea I would like to develop in the contact seminar is about multicultarility in the care of the elderly. Staff and managers of social enterprises dealing with care of the elderly need to be educated an prepared to work trans-culturally. The specific objective should be to develop and test a first draft of an ICT based education module for managers and supervisors in elderly care, and for managers and teachers in vocational training organizations who, in turn, will be able to train careers in “multicultural elderly care”. The module should focus on organizing, managing and communicating in multicultural organizations, i.e. where both careers and end-users (the elderly) may have different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
