Risk management practices is the significant part of economy and social economy sectors. Because if you can not estimate the risk when you go in an activity, it can turn into a real catastrophe. So if anyone wishes to intercept people to go in such kind of challenges, first he must take into consideration the "risk". Although risk management is not a new term, many organisations in Turkey ignore this subject but in EU the situation is the vice versa. We would like to prepare a project about developping risk management activities in public sector and hope to find partners especially from social economic sector which has best practices on risk management. Our aim is to share current risk management practices in our department, Identify best practices in risk management,develop strategies to adopt EU risk management applications in our department. Our topics will be in line with the contact seminar. It is claimed in the invitation letter participants from public sector are also available to take part in this contact seminar and The Seminar’s aim is to provide organisations involved in the social economy an opportunity to address common themes. It can be said that risk management is in the middle of this common themes.İn addition to contact seminar activities, during project specific disscussions our topics will be about defining risk management, risk management in public bodies, defining the relation between security, economy and social economy, developping strategies in deploying police resources. My background is also suitable for this subject. I have given courses on risk management in social economy. Our organization is a public organization and social economy needs both private and public organizations involved in the same activity so it can be said that there is a link between specifity of our organization and the content of contact seminar.This seminar will serve as an opportunity to share those ideas with other participants as well as hearing their project ideas and establish necessary contact in this field.

Our school is in the Central Bartın.It has 140 teachers and 1600 students in eight different departments as information technologies,electric and electronics,machine technologies,furniture and decoration,motor vehicle tecnology,metal works,installation technology and shipbuilding. In my country, there are 11 million primary school students, but only 4 million of them go to high schools. The rest of the students either start working without any qualification or are unemployed. Although recent developments in Turkish industrial areas give the unemployees hope, these sectors need qualified employees as well. The aim of this project is to open vocational courses about such demanded areas as sailing, metal works, furniture and decoration, electric and electronics in order to provide 15-20 years-old young unemployees with skills and knowledge required to get an occupation. We also aim to improve the cooperation between the vocational education institutions and the business enterprisers. By the help of the vocational courses and this cooperation, the young qualified unemployees will be employed, and so the gap between the needed qualified employees and the sectors will be closed. Apart from this educational dimension of the project, the teachers in our school will also have an opportunity to share their experiences with their European colleagues and to observe the technological developments by comparing the applications among the participants with the help of this project. Our students and teachers will have the chance of communication in the target language and expanding their technical language skills. This probable project will pave the participants the way to promote tolerance to the other cultures.
