Plan of Action:
To streamline and enhance international programmes
Outcome:
The post of a Dean of International Programmes was created in an effort to
streamline, centralize and enhance the quality of all such programmes.
Plan of Action:
To strengthen the placement cell
Outcome:
Many students were placed in software industries like Wipro, Infosys, CTS, HCL etc.
Efforts are taken to improve the placement by appointing a Placement Officer for the
College and ably supported by staff from Departments, as well. Departments like
Social Work and MCA have released brochures for placement
Plan of Action:
To improve the infrastructural facilities
Outcome:
• Martin Hall indoor games recreation centre was dedicated.
• Bioinformatics centre (sponsored by DBT), was established for enhancing UG and
PG teaching.
• A new M.Com Lab was constructed.
• Purchased additional benches and tables for class rooms.
• The student center was renovated to provide better facilities for students.
Plan of Action:
To accelerate the student activities
Outcome:
Students of our college represented the University in Volley Ball, Cricket, Ball-
Badminton, Athletics, Kho-Kho etc. and made track record achievements. They were
also actively involved in both national and international youth festivals, conferences
and other such co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
