Recapturing the romance of a bygone age, diesel or electric locomotives are used at various stages of<br />

the journey. Two dining cars serve 72 guests in one sitting with a smart casual dress code during the day<br />

and formal wear in the evening (jacket and tie for gentlemen). The Observation Car at the rear of the<br />

train has large windows and an open-air platform, and a small smoking lounge in the adjoining coach.<br />

Each of the 36 spacious cabin suites has air-conditioning, double or twin beds, minibar, writing desk<br />

and en suite bathroom with shower, hairdryer and shaver plug. Royal Suites each occupy half a carriage,<br />

with a private lounge area and Victorian bath and separate shower. Deluxe Suites have a lounge area.<br />

Pullman Suites have a double or bunk beds – converted during the day to a seating cabin.<br />
