and dinner on safari. Breakfast and lunch are included
on the Mombasa extension (breakfast only in Arusha);

to use alternative accommodation due to local
availability and road conditions.
TRAVEL TIPS h Be sure to pack a mixture of warm and
light clothing in soft bags weighing maximum 15kg,
plus sunglasses, camera and insect repellent.

DAY 8 h Visit a Maasai village this morning, take lunch at
the lodge in the restaurant with breathtaking views over
the crater, then descend to the crater floor to enjoy an
afternoon game drive, seeking out the plentiful big game.
DAY 9 h Drive to Lake Manyara in the Rift Valley, enjoying
a game drive in the beautiful national park by the lake
shore and then lunch. In the afternoon, visit a local village.
Overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge, which
offers stunning views over the lake, best viewed from the
infinity pool (approx. 55 miles).
DAY 10 h Drive to Arusha for lunch and some time to relax
before transferring to Kilimanjaro airport for your return
flight, or choose to extend your stay.
