DAY 1 h Governors’ Camp is home to the BBC’s awe-inspiring
‘Big Cat Diaries’ and on arrival from Mombasa or Nairobi by
light aircraft, the wondrous Maasai Mara will truly captivate
your senses. Skilled rangers will take you on an in-depth
safari to the Reserve, a haven of wildlife activity boasting
some of the best game viewing in the world. Choose to stay
at the four star Governors’ Camp or Little Governors’, both
expertly run with knowledgeable safari guides, delicious
food and attentive service. Both camps are nestled on the
Mara River, often frequented by hippo and elephants. The
main Governors’ Camp features 37 en suite tents, a central
bar and a mess tent area. Little Governors’ is more secluded
with just 17 tents overlooking an elephant watering hole.
These tents are accessed across a small river by boat.
DAY 2 h Enjoy two days to explore this incredible area with
game drives in the Mara. Perhaps opt for a balloon safari
(extra cost), seeing the African plains from an entirely
different perspective. Re-live your adventures over the
blazing sunset camp fire.
DAY 4 h Another chance for an expert safari drive in the
morning before your departure back to Nairobi or Mombasa.

DAY 1 h Depart Nairobi or Mombasa by light aircraft flying
over the vast plains of southern Kenya to the Maasai Mara.
On arrival at the luxurious tented Mara Bushtops, exclusive
to Kuoni clients, take in the rich surrounds with your private
wildlife-watching telescope. The 12 exquisite tents feature
indoor/outdoor rain showers and a wooden viewing deck
with romantic sunken hot tub. An infinity pool, restaurant,
unique wine cellar and salt lick for game viewing complete
the camp’s facilities. The afternoon game drive searches out
resident lions, elephants, giraffe and more. Return to camp

DAY 2 h Search out the elusive leopard and cheetah on

DAY 3 h Set out on a thrilling early morning game drive,
often the best time to spot big game. Return to the camp
for breakfast and an optional bush walk (extra cost). A final
short game drive takes you to the airstrip for your flight
