DAY 1 h Fly from Maun by light aircraft to the Leroo La
Tau lodge where you will spend two nights. The lodge is
located deep within the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park,
in north eastern Botswana, and enjoys a majestic setting
overlooking the Boteti River. This afternoon enjoy your
first guided game drive during which you can see large
concentrations of zebra and wildebeest and, if you are
lucky, their fascinating predators. Following dinner relax
at the bar and soak up the ambience of the African bush.
The next day enjoy two further game drives and, during
your time between safaris, maybe spend some time in the
lodge’s game viewing hide built on the river bank.
DAY 3 h After your final Makgadikgadi game drive fly by light
aircraft to Camp Okavango, situated on Nxaragha Island
at the heart of the expansive Okavango Delta, where you
will spend two nights. The afternoon and following day can
be spent partaking in any of the various activities on offer,
including game viewing by traditional mokoro or motorboat
along the delta and guided nature walks. You can also make
use of the lodge’s plunge pool, bird hide and library.
DAY 5 h Travel by air to Kasane and transfer to Chobe
National Park’s only permanent game lodge, Chobe Game
Lodge, for a two night stay. Your time here is spent at
leisure and includes two scheduled game activities per
day (one activity on day of arrival and departure). The
park boasts Africa’s highest concentration of elephant
which can be seen, alongside buffalo, giraffes and many
other species, on morning and evening game drives. Other
activities offered by the lodge include river cruises aboard
the lodge’s vessel, the Mosi-oa-Tunya, and riverside game
viewing trips and sunset cruises along the Chobe River.
DAY 7 h This morning enjoy your last game activity
before returning to Kasane airport for your onward
journey to Johannesburg. Alternatively you could choose
to extend your stay in Victoria Falls, Livingstone, this is
available on request.
