4.2.2. Menus and Buttons<br />

The default screen of the e.<strong>net</strong> Diagnostics suite contains a menu bar, an icon-menu bar,<br />

and a status bar (set at the bottom of the window). In this introduction to the e.<strong>net</strong><br />

Diagnostics suite we will briefly go through the icon-menu bar and explain the function of<br />

each button. Then we will mention some of the other pertinent options available from the<br />

top drop-down menu.<br />

4.2.2.1. Global Log On<br />

This tool allows the user to input one operator username and company for all the<br />

debugging activities, rather than entering these details each time a new programming or<br />

XML sequence is loaded or edited. In order to use this feature you will need your Operator<br />

Code and password, as well as the Company Code and Password. If you are using the<br />

sample data supplied with the evaluation distribution of SYSPRO then the Company Code<br />

will be '0' and the password box will remain blank.<br />

4.2.2.2. New Harness<br />

The harness is the main e.<strong>net</strong> solutions programming diagnostics/debugging tool. The<br />

business objects used in e.<strong>net</strong> solutions programming are of three different Classes: Query,<br />

Setup, and Transaction. Various business objects within these Classes are available for<br />

each of modules of the core SYSPRO system. Once you have selected which type of Class<br />
