Participants from around the province will be at the 8 ,h
Annual BC
Communities in Bloom Awards and Conference in Sooke next
weekend to receive their Bloom Rating certificates and Evaluation
Reports. Special 5-Bloom Awards and sponsor presented Criteria
Trophies will be the highlight of the evening.
Sooke is excited to be hosting this event and is justifiably proud of
their new seaside hotel and conference centre. Delegates will also
have an opportunity to promote their communities in the Community
Display area.
On Saturday, the conference will focus on some key CiB topics:
Heritage, Urban Forestry, Landscape/Floral and Environmental
Action and the afternoon will offer Whale Watching, Environmental
and Agricultural tours.
The Awards Dinner, Silent Auction, Delegates Choice Gateway
Winner and Awards presentation will wrap-up the weekend's events.
