D1<br />
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITY ALLOWANCES<br />
D1.1 Where an employee performs more than one “additional responsibility” function outlined in<br />
Table D1 <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Agreement</strong> they will only be entitled to receive one allowance in respect <strong>of</strong><br />
undertaking these duties, paid at the highest rate available for the duties undertaken.<br />

D2<br />
FIRST AID OFFICER ALLOWANCE<br />
D2.1 Where an employee possesses a current first aid certificate, and has been appointed by the<br />
Secretary as a first aid <strong>of</strong>ficer in their workplace, the department will pay the employee a<br />
fortnightly allowance at the rates outlined in Table D1 (Rate 1).<br />
D2.2 Where the Secretary has determined that a workplace is a high risk workplace, an employee<br />
who is eligible for an allowance under clause D2.1 and has relevant qualifications for a high risk<br />
workplace will be entitled to a higher rate <strong>of</strong> fortnightly allowance at the rates outlined in Table<br />
D1 (Rate 2).<br />
D3<br />
CHIEF WARDEN ALLOWANCE<br />
D3.1 Where an employee has completed appropriate training and has been appointed by the<br />
Secretary as a chief emergency control warden or chief fire warden, the department will pay the<br />
employee a fortnightly allowance at the rates outlined in Table D1.<br />
