Installation of gearbox connecting-shaft<br />

shields using two shields for four-auger<br />

unit and three shields for six-auger unit.<br />

Simply place shield in position as shown<br />

in Photo 22. Firmly place notched end<br />

of shield between gearbox mounting<br />

brackets, and complete installation by<br />

hooking spring to the bottom side of the<br />

trolley frame. See Photo 22 and<br />

Drawing B on page 38.<br />

Greenfield shown in photo has been replaced<br />

with 14-3 rubber covered wire.<br />

STEP 23<br />

Installation of trolley drive-arm assembly,<br />

which consists of three pieces: See<br />

Drawings C or F, pages 40 and 46. Attach<br />

to the trolley as shown in Photo 23<br />

using two 5/16" x 1" hex-head bolts with<br />

lock-washers and nuts. Attach opposite<br />

end of drive-arm to chain-connecting<br />

angle, using one 5/8" S.A.E. washer, and<br />

one 5/32" x 1" cotter pin. See Photo 24<br />

and Drawing E on page 44.<br />
