FINAL INSPECTION CHECK LIST<br />
1. HAVE YOU READ THE OWNER’S MANUAL COMPLETELY - YOURSELF STUDY IT.<br />
2. Is there at least 7" clearance between the top of the track and the lowest part of the roof or roof<br />
braces<br />
3. Are the track splices correctly installed <strong>Co</strong>nsult the Drawings in the OWNER’S MANUAL<br />
4. Is the suspension tee properly hung, LEVEL, with the end loops down, with lead-in wire and<br />
shut-off chain properly installed<br />
5. Is the frame of the <strong>Stir</strong>ator about 1" higher at the center of the bin for NEW BIN INSTALLATION,<br />
and LEVEL WITH EXISTING BINS<br />
6. Are augers 3" off the drying floor at the bin wall<br />
7. Were the augers notched with a file (NOT A TORCH) where the clamp bolts serve as a driving<br />
key<br />
8. Did you note the instructions NOT to weld flighting at the top end of the auger<br />
9. Are you keeping a record of the serial number of each owner<br />
10. If your <strong>Red</strong> <strong>Giant</strong> <strong>Stir</strong>-ator is equipped with three phase power, BE SURE YOUR ELECTRICIAN<br />
HAS INSTALLED ADEQUATE MOTOR PROTECTION, (either magnetic or manual starters<br />
can be used) or you will void the warranty on your three-phase motors.<br />
11. Did you make sure that the owner received his owner’s manual, and was instructed that reading<br />
and understanding the manual will help immensely<br />
12. If electric motors other than the ones provided by <strong>David</strong> <strong>Manufacturing</strong> <strong>Co</strong>mpany are used,<br />
modification of the motor belt shield may become necessary. Cut to fit. Do not operate without<br />
the shields being in place.<br />
13. Did you put safety decals on bin; inside walk-in door; under side of man-hole cover<br />
14. NOTE: Operating the <strong>Stir</strong>-<strong>Ator</strong> during bin unloading can be beneficial, and can prevent auger<br />
damage. When the grain no longer flows into the center sump, the <strong>Stir</strong>-<strong>Ator</strong> should be shut off<br />
to prevent auger damage.<br />
15. NOTE: BURYING UNIT WILL DAMAGE BIN AND WILL VOID YOUR RED GIANT WARRANTY.<br />
