Celebrate the State Parks Centennial<br />
at Cama Beach and Camano Island State Parks. 10am-noon at Camano<br />
Island State Park; noon to 4 p.m. at Cama Beach. A free day<br />
in honor of the State Parks 100th birthday. A Discover Pass is not<br />
required. Celebrate with a showcase of events & recreational, cultural<br />
& outdoor opportunities. <strong>The</strong>re will be hands-on activities for<br />
participants of all ages. Camano Island State Park: 10am-noon,<br />
kite building & kite flying. (FOCIP). Noon, hike from Camano Island<br />
State Park to Cama Center. Starts at Lowell Point parking lot.<br />
Friendly dogs on leash OK. A free shuttle is available to take participants<br />
back to Lowell Point from the Cama Center. Cama Beach<br />
State Park: 1:30: Cake cutting. 2-3 Beach walk. 10-4 Toy boat building.<br />
9-4 Food service at the Café. 10-4 Store open and marine tanks<br />
on display. 9-5 Boat house open for tours and livery. Noon -4 Craft<br />
projects at the Cama Center. Build-a-Bird, made from yarn Pompoms<br />
and feathers. Make a replica that can decorate your home.<br />
