MONDAY, APRIL 1
Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Come One Come All!
Everyone is invited to the 1st annual Lost Lake Squirrel Fry to be
held at Lost Lake. All are welcome. Bring your own critters or purchase
them on site. Barbeques, fry pots and open fire will be available
for your convenience. There will be a contest with prizes for
those with the fastest time skinning a squirrel and for the tastiest
recipes. Also a demonstration by our resident sharpshooter on how
to “bark” a squirrel. Then for the children prizes, for the ones that
snare the most geese in the shortest time. And possibly a surprise
visit by a celebrity from the hit show Moon Shiners with a sample
for the adults along with a demonstration on making the shine. So
all, set aside that date for a roaring good time. – Jim Davenport.

Geo Crashing at Cama Beach
Do you have a running GM Geo automobile, made in the 1990s
Bring it down to Cama Beach for the First Annual Geo Crashing
event. Drivers will be handed GPS coordinates of where they can
find colorful blown glass Easter eggs that have been hidden, and
drive around the upper parking lots trying to find them. Since drivers
must stay in their cars until they reach their destination, crashes
are bound to occur, which adds to the hilarity. Participants must
buy a ten dollar Discourage Pass, and must remove all remnants
of their Geos before leaving the park. Afterwards, we will hike to
Camano Island State Park for Kayak Jousting on Lake Wheeler!
