The image of the eagle on the cover of this edition was photographed
by Adam Christopherson. The bald eagle was perched
atop the cross on the historic Lutheran Church in Conway. “That
photo is called Dora the original explorer... A woman named Dora
Tronsdal’s family donated that Cross and Crown as a Memorial to
her. When her daughter Amy Carl saw the photo, she contacted
me right away to order copies for her and her children. Dora has
a nest next to the river right behind the Church.” – Adam Christopherson,

was started by Adam & Jenny Christopherson on Camano Island
after Adam spent 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy. Adam has
been an avid photographer since his first picture of Deception
Pass when he was 8 years old. His passion for photography was renewed
in the Navy aboard the USS Ingraham on two Middle East
deployments. He spent time teaching sailors how to take photos
while at sea and posting the photos for the crew to send home to
their families. Wildlife photography, especially birds, is a favorite
subject for Adam and his sons Kody and Jacob. Landscapes and
old structures are other items he searches for on his journeys, as
well as people and outdoor activities. Jennifer is the backbone
of the company. She uses her artistic skills in photo editing and
IT to keep everything going, while maintaining a house, being a
teacher, and staying active in the community.
