and conduct rules.<br />

Teachers must be made accountable to impart/transact the skill in actual class rooms<br />

situations which he/she has learnt through training.<br />

It will be mandatory for all teachers, heads, <strong>of</strong>ficers, <strong>of</strong>ficials <strong>of</strong> the department to submit<br />

proper feedback on prescribed pr<strong>of</strong>orma to the Head <strong>of</strong> the Institution/District Head/Director <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>Higher</strong> <strong>Education</strong> being reporting <strong>of</strong>ficer as the case may be, stating how he/she plans to<br />

implement all that he/she has learnt during the particular training in the class room<br />

teaching/day-to-day functioning as job requirement in future in the interest <strong>of</strong> better results.<br />

2.20.2 Analysis <strong>of</strong> Examination Results<br />

(i) After declaration <strong>of</strong> annual result <strong>of</strong> each class by the H.P Board <strong>of</strong> school education, an<br />

analysis <strong>of</strong> the results will be carried within one month as follows:<br />

(a) Matric and Plus two class results <strong>of</strong> board classes will be analysed by the SCERT for<br />

the State and Districts.<br />

(b) Every school will analyse the results <strong>of</strong> various board classes as per data provided by the<br />

H.P Board <strong>of</strong> school education.<br />

(ii) The analysis <strong>of</strong> result referred to above will take into account:-<br />

(a) The overall pass percentage ;<br />

(b) Percentage <strong>of</strong> students scoring more than 60% marks;<br />

(c) Number <strong>of</strong> students who are in top 500;<br />

(d) Number <strong>of</strong> students in top 50<br />

(e) Percentage <strong>of</strong> students who scored third Division.<br />

2.20.3 Penalties for Poor Result<br />

(a) Minimum requirement for entries in Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) will be as<br />

follows:<br />

(i) The entry <strong>of</strong> outstanding in ACR can be made only when the average result <strong>of</strong> all Board<br />

Classes is not less than 75 % (notwithstanding the other important parameters, too).<br />

(ii) The entry <strong>of</strong> very good would require at least average result <strong>of</strong> 65% in Board Classes<br />

(notwithstanding the other important parameters, too).<br />

(b) Where results in a particular subject in a school is less than half <strong>of</strong> the pass percentage in<br />

the Board exams then the appointing authority will impose a penalty <strong>of</strong> withholding <strong>of</strong> one<br />

increment without cumulative effect. However, the penalty will be imposed only against the<br />

teacher who had taught that particular subject for a minimum period <strong>of</strong> nine months in an<br />

academic year with at least five students in that subject in the school.<br />

(c) In case where the result in a particular school continues to be less than half <strong>of</strong> pass<br />

percentage in the Board Examinations in the next academic year, then the appointing authority<br />

will impose a penalty <strong>of</strong> withholding <strong>of</strong> one increment with cumulative effect provided the<br />

same teacher continues to teach the class he has taught the class for at least nine months and<br />

the second academic year with at least five students in that subject in the school.<br />

(d) ACRs/Annual Performance Reports <strong>of</strong> all teachers, including the Contract Teacher are to<br />

be maintained. The Annual Performance report <strong>of</strong> Contract Teachers will be maintained by
