Head <strong>of</strong> the Institution and for retention <strong>of</strong> a Contract Teacher, it is necessary that the result<br />
must not be below Board’s result along with an overall good conduct.<br />
2.20.4 Maintenance <strong>of</strong> Results Record<br />
(i) The School will maintain record <strong>of</strong> the results <strong>of</strong> all classes in all the mid–term<br />
examinations as well as that <strong>of</strong> final examination. The Head <strong>of</strong> the Institution shall ensure<br />
that the results are shared with the parents by sending a report card to them after the end <strong>of</strong><br />
each quarter.<br />
(ii) Each school will maintain and display board showing the result <strong>of</strong> Board classes<br />
indicating therein the details <strong>of</strong> total candidates appeared, total candidates passed,<br />
Percentage <strong>of</strong> candidates scoring 60% or above marks and percentage <strong>of</strong> candidates securing<br />
less than 45% marks.<br />
2.20.5 Holding <strong>of</strong> Meeting with the Parents <strong>of</strong> Failed Students<br />
(i) All the Head <strong>of</strong> the Institutions will hold meeting with failed students along with their<br />
parents in the first month <strong>of</strong> academic session for the purpose <strong>of</strong> counselling by a team <strong>of</strong><br />
teachers.<br />

2.21 Correct Age Entry<br />
The Head <strong>of</strong> the Institution is required to make every endeavour to ensure that the age <strong>of</strong> a<br />
student is recorded with scrupulous accuracy on his first admission to a school and to make it<br />
clear to the parent or guardian that the date <strong>of</strong> birth once recorded will not be subsequently<br />
changed.<br />
Sometimes, it may so happen that at the time <strong>of</strong> change <strong>of</strong> standard/seeking readmission/<br />
transfer <strong>of</strong> school the entries are wrongly made in the admission withdrawal register. If these<br />
are merely clerical errors, corrections should be made by the Head <strong>of</strong> the Institution instead <strong>of</strong>
