Since years we have been supporting
the ACEBA Awards (Annual
Central European Bollywood
Awards), which are initiated and
organized by Marco Spiess, the
owner of Europa's biggest German
speaking Bollywood forum
'Molodezhnaja' and we have been
helping him to catch international
attention due to our PR, promotion
and media work. We have organized
huge award shows in 2011 in
Switzerland and 2012 at our Indian
Film Festival in Berlin.
Now we took a step forward by
initiating the AIFA Awards
(Annual Indian Film Awards)
which do not only nominate mainstream
Bollywood movies but also
Hindi films beyond this mainstream.
A film critic jury decides
about the nominations in 16 categories.
Bollywood fans and Indian
film lovers from Europe vote for
their favourites. They can vote for
the best film, the best director, the
best actors and actresses, the best
costumes, the best cinematography,
the best music, the best singers
and the best choreography.
Additionally they can also vote for
their all-time favourite actors. As
a special award we have the lifetime
achievement award.
We are looking forward to a large
attendance for the voting and are
excited about the results which we
will publish 1st of March 2015.
Like we did in the past with the
ACEBA Awards, also this year we
will hand the AIFA awards to the
winners personally.
