My big excitement is to have cast Ajay again.” Bhushan Kumar speaking on how he decided to produce the drama film: “During the success party of Milan's film ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’, I told Milan that I wanted to work with him. As soon as Ajay came on board, we all decided to join hands and make this film.” Bhushan Kumar, who is thrilled to start his project with Milan Luthria, adds: “I am excited to get Ajay Devgn and Milan Luthria combination back on silver screen. The duo has given hits and ‘Baadshaho’ will be another addition to their kitty.” “Baadshaho”, based on the name of Ajay's character in the film, will start shooting second half of 2015 and will release on the Independence weekend of 2016. Release of„Jagga Jasoos“ postponed While all eyes were set on the much awaited clash of two of Katrina Kaif's most awaited films this year, “Jagga Jasoos” and “Phantom” which were slated to release on the same day, August 28, 2015, the makers have decided to avoid this clash. From what we hear, though “Phantom” gets to retain its release date, it is the Ranbir Kapoor starrer “Jagga Jasoos” that will be pushed further. It is being said that having two releases on the same day will prove hectic for Katrina Kaif who will have to juggle too much between the promotions. Filmmaker Anurag Basu too is in no hurry to release “Jagga Jasoos” since it seems that final shoot schedule of the film is still pending, after which the film will go into post production, hence the delay. While actress Katrina Kaif mentioned about the film being postponed, the spokesperson of the film maintained that they are yet to narrow down on a release date for the film. Produced by Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor in association with UTV, “Jagga Jasoos” also stars Govinda in a prominent role. Now, after staying away from the silver screen for about two years, Diana Penty has finally decided to give her Bollywood career another trial and has been signed by filmmaker Anand L. Rai for his next production. Titled “Happy Bhaag Jayegi”, Diana will be sharing screen space with actor Abhay Deol. The film, which seems to be a comedy, will be directed by Mudassar Aziz. It took a while for Anand L. Rai Diana Penty and Mudassar Aziz to convince Diana Penty about doing the film. Though Diana has been active on the modeling and endorsement circuit, the actress completely stayed away from doing Bollywood films for over two years. The rest of the details of the film are still being kept under wraps, however “Happy Bhaag Jayegi” is slated to go on floor in mid 2015. John Abraham injures his back while shooting „Welcome Back“ John Abraham, who was shooting for the climax sequence of Anees Bazmee's “Welcome Back”, hurt his back while driving in a desert in Dubai. Apparently, John Abraham was supposed to drive an SUV in the desert for a car chase sequence with other vehicles coming towards him. Unfortunately at one point John Abraham broke his vehicle so hard that his back bore the brunt of an intense jerk spraining it. Due to this he was in excruciating pain, so much so that the actor could barely sit up. While a doctor was rushed to the spot, John Abraham had to undergo a couple of physiotherapy sessions combined with pain killers before completing the sequence. Though currently the actor is in much better shape, he has been advised to rest and to avoid picking up any heavy objects. “Welcome Back” also stars Shruti Haasan, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah and Dimple Kapadia in prominent roles and is produced by Firoz Nadiadwala. The film is slated to release on May 29, 2015.
