Chapter 2 Getting Started This chapter introduces you to the Q-Capture Pro 7 system, including an overview of its interface components and an overview of important concepts regarding Q-Capture Pro 7 image processing and analysis. The first thing you see when you start Q-Capture Pro 7 is the Welcome screen: The Welcome screen offers quick access to tutorials, help files, and images. You can choose any of these options to begin working with images right away. Recent documents: This pane displays a list of files that were recently opened. Video tutorials: This pane displays a list of web-based tutorials for using Q-Capture Pro 7. Open: Click this button to open an image or file. Help: Click this button to access the Q-Capture Pro 7 online help. Upgrade Options: Click this button to see if any upgrades are available from Media Cybernetics. Show this dialog on open: Check this box to see the Welcome screen each time that you start Q-Capture Pro 7. Close: Click this button to close the Welcome screen. 2-1
