Peace in Uncertainty
READ: Philippians 4:6-9
KEY VERSE: The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. –Philippians 4:7 (NKJV)
After an accident and surgery last year, I was limited in my movements. I got
discouraged during my recovery because I had to depend on my wife to do
a lot for me and it sometimes interrupted what she had to do. But she shared
with me that although there were uncertainties, we both knew that God
would take care of us.
We must remember that believers in Jesus can have peace in the midst of
uncertainties because we have the assurance that our heavenly Father loves
and cares for us. We should know that we can bring all our concerns to Him
with an attitude of thankfulness, trusting Him to meet our needs and give us

LOOKING WITHIN: How do I respond when I face uncertainty? What steps do
I need to take to experience the peace that God promises to believers?
Heavenly Father, you are all-wise, all-powerful and all-loving. In the midst
of uncertainties, help me to rest in the certainty of who you are. In Jesus’
name I pray. Amen.
