Living in Holiness
READ: Psalm 96:7-10
KEY VERSE: Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before
Him, all the earth. -Psalm 96:9 (NKJV)
We have so many choices and options in reaching our goals in life that we
often rely on ourselves and forget where all our help comes from. We should
recognize that God our creator is the one who provides all our knowledge
and skills. By getting to know God personally, we will realize that there is none
like Him.
We demonstrate to God our desire to live for Him through worship and
trusting that He must cleanse us, separate us from the things that minimize
our relationship with Him, and transform us from our old ways. The Apostle
Paul tells us that we are to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy,
acceptable to God, which is reasonable and what He deserves.
Never forget what God did for us by the sacrifice of His son, Jesus Christ.
In return, we should lead lives that are set apart from all things that do not
honor Him. Only then can His glory and power be revealed to all nations.

LOOKING WITHIN: How can living my life in holiness please God and give
back to Him that which is due?
Father in Heaven, forgive me when my life has not been one of holiness.
May your holy splendor cause me to no longer live outside of your desire
for me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
