Captive VSAT communication<br />

The bidder must have<br />

Emergency Operations Centre or<br />
Network Operations Centre<br />

WAN, LAN, Security, managing<br />
E-mail services, Internet services<br />
etc., for 24x7 operations ) in<br />
Projects with over 50 WAN<br />
nodes for Defense or Finance<br />
organization<br />
SEOC, DEOC, TEOC and ERC<br />
buildings have already been<br />
constructed or identified in the<br />
state. Building drawings <strong>of</strong> SEOC<br />
are given in the separate files.<br />
SEOC building is provided with<br />
the main power supply through<br />
redundant feeders (two sources)<br />
from domestic electric<br />
distribution company. The<br />
building also has a Diesel<br />
genera<strong>to</strong>r <strong>of</strong> requisite capacity<br />
as a backup arrangement and it<br />
au<strong>to</strong>matically takes over the<br />
load during interruption <strong>of</strong> the<br />
normal source.<br />
We suggest that for bandwidth<br />
requirement <strong>of</strong> mere 5 Mbps, a dedicated<br />
Hub setup is not required. The same may<br />
be put on a Shared Hub network. GSDMA<br />
may apply for special COTM license with a<br />
permission <strong>to</strong> work on Shared Hub. This<br />
will reduce the cost implication <strong>of</strong> the<br />
overall project and will facilitate optimized<br />
solution <strong>to</strong> GSDMA.<br />
