Imane is a 15 year old girl who lives with her family in the housing establishment Les Bosquets<br />
in the suburb Montfermeil, at the edge of Paris – the place where the riots started in October<br />
2005. The footbal ground is the central place for the citizens of Les Bosquets. Imane plays<br />
soccer <strong>and</strong> has the reputation to be a “garcon manque” – a tomboy. She would like to become<br />
a police woman to show that Arabs are not merely troublemakers.<br />
