ELIGIBILITY (all Championships)
GENERAL ELIGIBILITY
1. Players who have already secured a provincial berth are ineligible for the Sport
Region Qualifiers and Berth Bonspiels but may compete in Bonspiels with a Berth.
2. Each competitor must meet all eligibility conditions as established by CurlManitoba.
3. Each competitor shall adhere to the CurlManitoba residency policy.

4. All players must be members in good standing of a member Manitoba Club, which is
in good standing with CurlManitoba to compete in the Sport Region Qualifiers, Berth
Bonspiels and Provincial Championships. Players who are not members of a member
club may participate in Bonspiels with a Berth if they meet all other eligibility
requirements.
5. The verification of the age of all members of the team is the responsibility of the
team authorized signatory.
6. All four (4) or five (5) competitors registered on a team must be members of the
same CurlManitoba member Winnipeg club or members of any CurlManitoba rural
member club within the same Sport Region.
Exceptions to #4:
Junior: A team is comprised of four (4) or five (5) players who wish to register
through a school must all be registered students at the same school by October
1, 2013.
Manitoba Games (U18): A team is comprised of four (4) or five (5) players
who reside in the same sport region and are a member of a CurlManitoba
member club. One player per team may apply for an exemption of residency.
Senior Women & Master Women: All four (4) or five (5) competitors on a
team shall not necessarily come from one club, but may be chosen from any club
within their Sport Region. All City of Winnipeg affiliated clubs constitute one
Sport Region for entry purposes.
Mixed: Each team must have two male players and two female players and
they must play in alternate positions. Each team must consist of four players in
all games played at all levels. Games will not commence with three players. A
minimum of two players of the team shall be members in good standing of the
same member curling club in Manitoba and the team must enter through and
represent the club of those two players. All other players must be members of
an affiliated curling club in Manitoba. All four (4), five (5) or six (6) players of the
team must be accepted by the curling club they are entering out of as a team
representing that club prior to the start of play at any level. The skip and vice
