ELIGIBILITY (all Championships)<br />

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY<br />

1. Players who have already secured a provincial berth are ineligible for the Sport<br />

Region Qualifiers and Berth Bonspiels but may compete in Bonspiels with a Berth.<br />

2. Each competitor must meet all eligibility conditions as established by <strong>Curl<strong>Manitoba</strong></strong>.<br />

3. Each competitor shall adhere to the <strong>Curl<strong>Manitoba</strong></strong> residency policy.<br />

The policy can be found at www.curlmanitoba.org/policies.<br />

4. All players must be members in good standing of a member <strong>Manitoba</strong> Club, which is<br />

in good standing with <strong>Curl<strong>Manitoba</strong></strong> to compete in the Sport Region Qualifiers, Berth<br />

Bonspiels and Provincial Championships. Players who are not members of a member<br />

club may participate in Bonspiels with a Berth if they meet all other eligibility<br />

requirements.<br />

5. The verification of the age of all members of the team is the responsibility of the<br />

team authorized signatory.<br />

6. All four (4) or five (5) competitors registered on a team must be members of the<br />

same <strong>Curl<strong>Manitoba</strong></strong> member Winnipeg club or members of any <strong>Curl<strong>Manitoba</strong></strong> rural<br />

member club within the same Sport Region.<br />

Exceptions to #4:<br />

Junior: A team is comprised of four (4) or five (5) players who wish to register<br />

through a school must all be registered students at the same school by October<br />

1, 2013.<br />

<strong>Manitoba</strong> Games (U18): A team is comprised of four (4) or five (5) players<br />

who reside in the same sport region and are a member of a <strong>Curl<strong>Manitoba</strong></strong><br />

member club. One player per team may apply for an exemption of residency.<br />

Senior Women & Master Women: All four (4) or five (5) competitors on a<br />

team shall not necessarily come from one club, but may be chosen from any club<br />

within their Sport Region. All City of Winnipeg affiliated clubs constitute one<br />

Sport Region for entry purposes.<br />

Mixed: Each team must have two male players and two female players and<br />

they must play in alternate positions. Each team must consist of four players in<br />

all games played at all levels. Games will not commence with three players. A<br />

minimum of two players of the team shall be members in good standing of the<br />

same member curling club in <strong>Manitoba</strong> and the team must enter through and<br />

represent the club of those two players. All other players must be members of<br />

an affiliated curling club in <strong>Manitoba</strong>. All four (4), five (5) or six (6) players of the<br />

team must be accepted by the curling club they are entering out of as a team<br />

representing that club prior to the start of play at any level. The skip and vice<br />
