Berth 1 – 7 Berth 8 - 18 Berth 19 – 20 Berth 21 Berth 22 Berth 23 Berth 24 Berth 25-26 Berth 27 – 28 Berth 29 – 32 One (1) berth awarded to the winning team for each of the seven sport region qualifiers: Norman, Parkland, Westman, Central, Eastman, Interlake, Winnipeg Eleven (11) berths awarded to the Sport Region with the highest participation ratio Two (2) berths awarded to the Safeway Berth Bonspiel One (1) berth awarded to the Brandon Men‟s Bonspiel with a Berth One (1) berth awarded to the Champion of a Manitoba Curling Tour Clinic Pharmacy Cash Spiel. One (1) berth awarded to the Manitoba Curling Tour Champion subject to: 1) Highest placing team in the 2013-2014 MCT Championship 2) Requirements must be met to maintain eligibility One (1) berth awarded to the Safeway Provincial Champion from the previous season if: 1) The team comprises of 3 of the 4 members of the previous year‟s provincial winning team 2) The team declares in writing by September 15, 2013 their intention of utilizing the berth, and 3) The team, all 4 or 5 players, meets the eligibility requirements for the year of the current Safeway Championship. Two (2) berths awarded to the top Manitoba teams on the Canadian Team Ranking System(CTRS) subject to the following terms: 1) the team comprises of at least 3 of the 4 members of the previous year‟s CTRS registered team, and 2) the team must declare in writing by September 15, 2013 their intention to utilize this entry into the Provincial Championship 3) the team competes in a minimum of one (1) eligible event (an MCT or WCT sanctioned event held in Manitoba) this season, and 4) In order to remain eligible for the CTRS berth, all 4 players must meet the eligibility requirements in the year of the championship. 5) Must be in the top 30 of the CTRS ranking for the 2012-2013 season. Two (2) berths awarded to the highest ranked team on the Manitoba Curling Tour at the conclusion of the MCT Championship subject to 3 of the 4 players meeting the eligibility requirements for the Provincial Championship. The teams must be in the top 15 of the MCT ranking. Four (4) berths awarded to the MCA Men‟s Bonspiel. All teams awarded a berth must satisfy all eligibility requirements. 28
12 TEAM SENIOR WOMEN CHAMPIONSHIP -Gender Specific (Female) Teams competing for the Manitoba Senior Women‟s Provincial Championship shall enter an open entry bonspiel. 16 TEAM SENIOR MEN CHAMPIONSHIP-Gender Specific (Male) Berth 1 - 7 Berth 8 - 14 Berth 15 Berth 16 One (1) berth awarded to the winning team for each of the seven sport region qualifiers: Norman, Parkland, Westman, Central, Eastman, Interlake, Winnipeg Seven (7) berths awarded to the Sport Region with the highest participation ratio One (1) berth awarded to the winning team in the Senior Bonspiel with a Berth One (1) berth awarded to the winning team in the Strathcona Senior Men‟s Berth Bonspiel MASTER WOMEN CHAMPIONSHIP—Gender Specific (Female) Teams competing for the Manitoba Master Women‟s Provincial Championship shall enter an open entry bonspiel. 16 TEAM MASTER MEN CHAMPIONSHIP—Gender Specific (Male) Berth 1 - 7 Berth 8 – 14 Berth One (1) berth awarded to the winning team for each of the seven sport region qualifiers: Norman, Parkland, Westman, Central, Eastman, Interlake, Winnipeg Seven (7) berths awarded to the Sport Region with the highest participation ratio One (1) berth awarded to the Brandon Master Men‟s Bonspiel with a berth 15 Berth 16 One (1) berth awarded to the Chicken Chef Master Men‟s Bonspiel with a Berth 29
